Terms & Conditions
CONTRACT OF TERMS AND CONDITIONS
All bookings will be regarded as provisional until we have received relevant booking fee. All provisional bookings will be secured for a maximum of 14 days. We reserve the right to release the booking, if booking fees have not been received. Non-refundable booking fee of 10% will be required to secure date.
Payments
Payments for final balance should be made no later than 28 days before your wedding or event.
Cancellations
In the event of a cancellation, the following cancellation charges will apply.
14 day cooling off period Booking fee returned
After 14-day cooling off period Non refundable booking fee is retained
12-8 weeks prior 25% of the total booking value
8-4 weeks prior 50% of the total booking value
4-2 weeks prior 75% of the total booking value
Less than 2 weeks 100% of the total booking value
Where we can we will endeavour to transfer any monies to future bookings to prevent a loss. This may not always be possible.
We strongly recommend for weddings, insurance is taken out to cover any loses if you need to cancel your wedding.
Cancellation by us
In the event of 5 Star Events cancelling any part or all of your booking, you will be entitled to a full refund, including any booking fees paid.
Alterations of Numbers Attending
Final numbers of any function involving the preparation and service of confectionery or linen must be confirmed 28 days before the start of the actual function and will be charged as a minimum.
Date Changes
In the event that you have to change your event date, we will where possible accommodate this. Should we not have availability on your new date the booking fee will be retained.
By paying your booking fee you are accepting and agreeing to these terms and conditions.
